ABERNETHY BABY AND TODDLER GROUP

Abernethy baby and Toddlers group meets on Thursdays from 10.00-11.30am in the Williamson Hall. We are a group of babies,  preschool children and the grown ups who look after us.  The cost per session is £2.00 per family, this includes snack for children and adults, cost of the hall rental and contribution towards upkeep of toys.  Activities are informal and fun, appropriate to the ages of the little ones present on the day and may include; trikes and cars, trampoline and slide, ball pool, crafts story time, dressing up, musical  and sensory play. We have bouncer seats and baby gyms for very little ones.  By the time this goes to print we will have taken part in a sponsored toddle waddle/pram push for the Meningitis trust on the 1st May. Thank you in advance to those of you who have sponsored us. Fingers crossed for good weather for the post walk picnic.

Abernethy Baby & Toddler group meets in the Williamson Hall every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 9.30-11.30am (Thursdays only during school holidays). We are a pre-school toddler group open to all children from birth to 5 years & their carers (parents, grandparents & child minders all very welcome). There is a small charge of £2.50 per family per session which includes a snack for the children, tea/coffee for adults, cost of hall rental & contribution to the upkeep of toys.

Activities are informal & fun, appropriate to the little ones present on the day, and may include things such as crafts, book corner, imaginative play, musical instruments, trikes & cars etc. We have a separate baby area with baby gyms & bouncy chairs etc.

The group is a great way for children & the adults who care for them to socialise, build friendships & have lots of fun!

Abernethy Baby and Toddler Group has been running in the village for more than 40 years. The group is run by volunteers and provides a place for mums, dads, grandparents and carers to take their little ones from birth to 5 years for a bit of fun and socialising.

There are lots of different toys and activities available for the children to play with, it's an ideal way for them to meet and make friends with other children in the village. A healthy snack is provided and high chairs are also available for the younger children, it's lovely to see the little ones sitting around the table, sharing food and chatting to each other.

Tea, coffee (and often some home baking) are there for the adults to enjoy, as well as a good old chat. It's a great way to catch up with friends and get to know other people in the village. The group is friendly and welcoming and we would love to see some new faces and welcome new members.

The group runs on Tuesday and Thursday mornings in Williamson Hall between 9.30am and 11.30am. The cost each session is £2.50 per family. All proceeds go towards the hire of the hall and renewing toys and equipment.
