ABERNETHY SCOTTISH KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY AND MEDAL WINNERS

The Perth Tora Kai Karate Club recently participated in the Scottish Karate Championships, held on the 16th April 2010 at the Lagoon Leisure Centre in Paisley. Among many of the trophy and medal winners from the club were four local boys, Finlay Clark, Andrew Duncan, Keelan Anderson and Josh Stocker, who are all primary 6 pupils at Abernethy Primary School.

The Tora Kai Karate Club holds classes locally as well as throughout Perth and Scone and is run under the expert guidance of Mike and Cathy Clifford

Local classes are held on the following days,

• Tuesday - Strathallan School                  6pm-7pm,
• Tuesday - Abernethy Masonic Lodge        7.15pm-8.30pm
• Thursday - Bridge of Earn Institute          7.30pm-8.30pm

New members are always welcome.

Gold and Silver

At the British Karate Championships held in Blackpool in March 2011 Keelan Anderson won a Gold for team Kumite and Andrew Duncan and Josh Stocker won a Silver for team Kumite.The boys train with Tora Kai Perth .
