From a young age Scott Sutherland has been a keen footballer, kicking a ball about at every opportunity.
Whilst playing for Abernethy under 11s, Scott was spotted by a Dunfermline Athletic Scout and in September 2008 he was asked to go along to trials. Scott attended these trials twice a week, at this time he was still playing for Abernethy. In 2009 he signed at Pro-youth level for Dunfermline Football Club and travels three times per week for training.
The highlight of the week is the game on a Saturday, traveling the length and breadth of Scotland from Kilmarnock in the South, to Inverness in the North. Could we see him in a Scotland shirt in years to come? Lets hope so.
I believe his Great-Grandfather was a bit of a player.
Good luck Scott.
