While we hope you all agree that the Crier is a wonderful read, as a quarterly publication, we understand that with life moving so fast nowadays, we can't always catch everything that's happening in time.
If you are digitally inclined and you take the newfangled social networking in your stride, then help is at hand. The Abernethy Facebook Group has been running for around 2 years and currently has over 220 members.
It's a great place to advertise local events, ask questions, have a rant, sorry, politely voice your concerns, and generally connect with villagers, past and present. If you need to assemble a group of volunteers quickly, this might just be the way to go.
Credit to Donna Lyell for setting up the group, which is becoming more popular all the time. The more people that use it, the more useful it will be.
To become a member, just sign up / log in to Facebook, search for 'Abernethy, Perthshire', and apply to join the group.
