JOHN MARSHALL RAMSEY

Many of you will remember the Ramsey family who lived in Strathview on Station Road. Sadly, Marshall the younger son of Thomson Ramsay, ied last Septmeber at home in Gloustershire.

Marshall’s father had the Butchers business in the village and was the Provost of Abernethy from

Tom, Marshall’s older brother, who survives him, and Marshall were very much Abernethy boys and helped their father as “message boys” on Saturdays. It was lovely to listen to them relate tales of the adventures they had while making the deliveries.

Many happy times we had when the “Ramsey boys” and their families visited Bobby and myself at Struan House.

Our thoughts go to Sandra, Marshall’s wife and boys James and Robbie.
