A GRAND OLD LADY

Another chapter in the history of Abernethy has closed with the death of Isobel Margaret Smith nee Johnston known affectionately as Tib

Tib was born in Abernethy on the 7th April 1914 and was very much involved in village life, the Church, WRI, Afternoon Club and the Museum. She had a excellent memory and was a font of knowledge to those seeking information on the past.

A thanks giving for her life was held in the Abernethy Church on 11th November.
