As well as some new items on display in the Museum — well worth a visit, still time before we shut for the winter! — and our part in the Wee Big Dig, two sizeable groups visited the Museum, donated generously and bought booklets etc., which brought a smile to the treasurer’s face, as may be imagined. These were, in May, the Glasgow University Archaeological Club on their annual outing, and in June a group taking a walk and talk tour of the round tower as part of P&K Archaeological Month. On both occasions the Museum was opened specially outside the normal 2-5 slot.
In July the Museum was once more awarded 4 stars by VisitScotland.
