NEWS FROM THE CHAIRMAN.SEPTEMBER 2014

Just a brief note from me as there are articles from Sally and Bill in this edition too! The Museum of Abernethy closes for the season on Sunday 28 September. Thank you to those of you who have visited the Museum over the summer months. I quite often encounter people who say 'Oh yes, I keep meaning to have a look round the Museum!”. Are you one of those people? If so the next opportunity will be the  Art Exhibition which will be held in the Museum over two weekends 17-19 October and 24-26 October 2014.

Some of you may have noticed a few upgrades to the inside of the Museum. We have a new secure donation box with a twisty track for coins to travel down, a new carpet in the entrance hall and also some pictures up in the toilet. These all help to keep the Museum looking fresh and attractive and doing justice to our beautiful village.
