Just a brief update from the Museum as I know Bill Drever has also submitted an excellent article on behalf of the Museum. Thank you to all our volunteers who attended our Christmas event at the Museum. The quiz, wine and nibbles contributed to a most entertaining evening with much friendly dispute over some of the quiz answers!
We look forward to 2014 with enthusiasm. We will be holding the second Annual Members' Meeting as a SCIO this March (replacing the old AGM). We will also open at the start of May for the season. We encourage anyone who would like to become a volunteer to get in touch. We are always looking for people to join the rota to man the museum whilst it is open. This is just a three hour shift as often as suits you and you are always on duty in pairs. This is a fantastic way to make new friends and help out in the community.
We are also hoping to get to grips with our part in the Tayside Landscape Project this year and are delighted that Sally Rose has volunteered to lend her expertise to this project and lead us through it.
As ever, if you have any suggestion, compliments or complaints, please do get in touch. We look forward to seeing you in the Museum this year.
